Anna-Maria’s Maisonette II was completely refurbished in summer 2011 and is a classic Myconian style two-stored stone house of 70 sq.m. It is situated on the top of the hill between Kalafatis, Kalo Livadi and Ag. Anna beaches, offering unbreakable view over the Aegean island. It’s only 10 km from Mykonos town (Chora), 12 km from the new port and 8km from Mykonos international airport. Here guests enjoy their peacefulness away from the town’s business and noise, but at the same time you are so close to the island’s most popular beach destinations like Kalo Livadi (400m.), Kalafatis (600m.), Elia (3km.), Lia or even Paradise, Super Paradise and Psarou.

Description

The maisonette consists of two bedrooms, the bathroom with a shower and a storage room on the ground floor. The white bedroom that is stylish-furnished with a large queen-size bed, a chest of drawers, a mirror and two bedside tables. The second room is equipped with double bed, a large 3-door closet, a floor-fan and access to the large sea-view terraced area, where you may find the sun-beds and sun-chairs to enjoy your sunbathing.

On the upper floor there is a luminous and spacious living room with picturesque balcony on the sea-view side and a practical veranda from the other side. The large triple sofa turns to a queen-size bed in case more than four people are staying at the house. There is also a HD-TV , a DVD player with some movies, an indoor dining table and chairs. Attached to the living room there is a fully equipped and functional kitchen where everything is at the cook’s disposal. There is also a WC on this floor for your own comfort. The veranda is ideal for dining offering sitting space for at least 6 people around a large wooden table. Pergola above it protects you from sun, as long with candles and pants provide a nice outdoor atmosphere.

The house has a remote control access to the gate and provides safety from other visitors. There is quite a lot space around the houses and enough parking space for two cars. The view over the Agia Anna and Kalafatis beaches is astonishing and guests never get enough of it.

The house-maisonette can very comfortably accommodate up to 4 people, but even 6 can decently fit as the sofa in the living room turns to another huge “bed”. This maisonette is an ideal accommodation option even for larger groups or for two families, as it neighbors with the sister Anna-Maria’s Maisonette I. They also share a back terrace where is the BBQ corner and hangers for drying the clothes.

Guest access

Guests has exclusive use of the whole house-maisonette and it’s patio with outdoor dining area, balcony with unobstructed sea view, while the large lot space is shared with the other houses around. Our guests also have parking space in the lot, free wi-fi connection, two wooden sunbeds and coffee table at the front terraced area.

Guest interaction

We always welcome our guests in person. We may even arrange a meeting point at port or airport, your pick-up or car rentals and drive together to the Anna-Maria Maisonettes location. A bottle of fine domestic wine, along with fresh seasonal fruits are occasionally with our compliments!

We have a thorough check-in showing you around the property, all appliances how they work and explaining the main property’s house rules. We are at your disposal for further inquiries or tips that you may need.

Maid service is regularly scheduled and may be applied at a daily basis upon your request. For every booking of at least 4 days a change of bed-linen and towels is also provided to our dear guests!

We do not bother our guests during their stay, unless if there is a serious reason for it or if you ask one of our team members to visit you.

Check-out is arranged with our guests and there is a short inspection of the villa prior to their departure.

We also provide special rates on car or boat rentals, custom sailing trips or officially guided tour to Delos island or walking tour in Mykonos town, scuba diving or speed boat trip around the island. Concierge and other optional services (extra cleaning, housekeeper, baby-sitting, masseur, chauffeur, private chef etc.) may also be provided upon request at an extra fee and we’ll do our best to cover all your inquiries. The neighborhood

Anna-Maria Seaview Maisonettes are ideally located at the south part of Mykonos and at a very short drive from at least seven different beaches avoiding the traffic jump around town.

* Kalo Livadi 1.2 km (amazing long white sandy beach with the infamous Solymar beach bar, Nemo beach bar, Altro Trattoria),
* Loulos 800m. (closest beach to our place, a hidden jem totally protected from North wind and mostly local people frequent here. Bring your umbrella as hopefully it’s not organised, but water is crystal clear).
* Kalafatis 1.6 km (highlight here is the surf school of Petz and two nice tavernas. We do recommend “Petrino” for fresh fish
* Agia Anna 1.6 km (the beach we see under our houses, dominated by Anastasia hotel umbrellas but has few random trees for natural shade, a classy seafood & fish restaurant called “Spilia” literally curved in the cave
* Lia 4.6 km (fantastic narrow sandy beach with a large beach bar called “Liasti” and a fully-recommended diving school).
* Elia 5.8km (one of the island’s most famous beaches fully covered by umbrellas and sunbeds as many huge hotels operate there. Worth a visit though except from July & August),
* Ftelia 6.3 km (windsurfers’ paradise as it’s totally exposed to North wind, but two beach bars managed to get into the best ones of the island, “Ftelia” itself with a more hippie atmosphere and amazing food, while the highlight the past few years has been “Alemagou” where fine dining is prepared by famous chef Thomas and the beach parties they throw are among the best ones in the island.

It’s a quiet residential area, both for families or group of friends or even couples, while Ano Mera village that covers all guests’ needs is just 3 km away. Ano Mera has supermarket, restaurants, tavernas, grocery stores, bakeries, ATMs, petrol station, laundry, pharmacy, 24/7 kiosks and is mostly populated by locals.

Bus stop is just 450 m. away, while on the way to Kalafatis beach and at 1.3 km distance from us there is a convenient store as well.

Getting around 

At this part of the island there is only one bus connection from Mykonos town to Kalafatis beach and vice versa. During peak season of July & August there are around 7-8 buses per day running this route, while in May, June and September there are only 2-4/day. The bus stop is exactly 450m. from our complex gate and tickets may be obtained from bus driver.

Second options is taxis, but rates are not fixed, depend on the season, the time of the day and number of guests. A trip from Mykonos town to “Dikastika Hill” may be anything from 15-50 euro. Please expect long queues at taxi depots as they are pretty limited number.

Thus, the car is the best option in order to be flexible and get around smoothly. You also need it for your provisions from Ano Mera village (3 Km) away and we always recommend our guests to rent one. Rates start from as low as 25 euro in low season and around 50 euro in peak season for a small car. You don’t need though any big car as the island is super small covering 35 km from side to side. Of course there is always an option for an ATV/scooter or even a buggy that started being popular in the island.
