Villa Milly has a typical Cycladic architectural style overlooking the town of Mykonos and accommodates comfortably up to seven people. The aesthetic touches are numerous, while furnishing and decoration are rich enough to offer to our guests a luxury stay. Pool is shared with another property and view is stunning from many sides. It’s located in a complex with few more villas covering around 5000 sq.m. while it’s private land covers 800 sq.m.

Description

The villa consists of two different levels offering an indoor floor space of around 160 sq.m. and has four bedrooms in total, three bathrooms, a luminous living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a smaller sitting room, two patios and an amazing pergola with private and sheltered BBQ area. One of the patios is fully covered by glass and may serve as a comfy separate bedroom for the comfort of our guests.

The pool area is shared with two more properties next door, while the owners are usually around in July or August they are not rented out to guests.

At ground level guests may enter the villa from kitchen that is fully equipped covering even the needs of demanding cooks. A large espresso machine with grinder makes the difference while the nice dining table proves handy for meals’ preparation or even for dining during the colder or very windy days. Attached to this area is a beautiful living room with fireplace, built-in sofa, huge antique mirror and elegant decorative details. A bathroom on this level has a large built-in cabin and washing machine is also here.

From kitchen guests may enter a small sitting room furnished with antiques and here they may enjoy some TV as the property has satellite TV as well (Cosmote TV). Through the sitting room we walk onward to the amazing and luminous glass room that serves as our fourth bedroom. For guests that want to sleep here there are dark curtains along with the white ones to make it completely dark during sleeping hours.

One of the highlights of this property lies next to the glass room where a stone and wood-made pergola protects a cozy area from the wind and makes it the best outdoor spot for the BBQ lovers. Large area for grilling, a tap, dining table and armchairs make it a comfy place for dining.

The internal staircase leads to the upper level where the three bedrooms are. Master bedroom is en-suite, furnished with a queen size bed & cute wardrobe, mosquito net and has access to a small wooden-made balcony with unobstructed view over Tinos & Delos islands. Bedroom II has one double & one single bed and offers fantastic partial view over Mykonos town.
Bedroom III is relatively small and has two single beds. There is a third small bathroom for the needs of the guests on this floor.

All bedrooms have closet or chest of drawers for our guests belongings, fresh bed linen & towels and more pillows.

Guest access 

Our guests have exclusive use of the property, while pool and outdoor area are shared with another villa that owners use mainly during August. There is designated parking space for two cars in the lot.

You walk a short footpath from parking lot that leads you to pool area, where your private patio with large dining table that sits eight people is located. The outdoor shower and the whole terraced area with the sun-beds is right at your doorstep.

Guest interaction

We always welcome our guests in person. We may even arrange a meeting at port or airport, your pick-up or car rentals and drive together to the villa’s location. A bottle of fine domestic wine or champagne is offered as our welcome basket, along with fresh seasonal fruits and our compliments!

We have a thorough check-in showing you around the property, all appliances how they work and explaining the main property’s house rules. We are at your disposal for further inquiries or tips that you may need.

Maid service is regularly scheduled and may be applied at a daily basis upon your request and at an extra fee. For every booking of at least 4 days a change of bed-linen and towels is also provided to our dear guests!

We do not bother our guests during their stay, unless if there is a serious reason for it or if you ask one of our team members to visit you.

Check-out is arranged with our guests and there is a short inspection of the villa prior to their departure.

We also provide special rates on car or boat rentals, custom sailing trips or officially guided tour to Delos island or walking tour in Mykonos town, scuba diving or speed boat trip around the island. Concierge and other optional services (extra cleaning, housekeeper, baby-sitting, masseur, chauffeur, private chef etc.) may also be provided upon request at an extra fee and we’ll do our best to cover all your inquiries. The neighborhood

The area is called Ano Diakoftis and is opposite of Mykonos town so the view from this part of the island is great especially during night hours. The nearby settlement of Ornos is less than three min drive and offers a plethora of restaurants, supermarket, bakeries, pubs and a well-organised white sandy beach.

Getting around

Although the area of this property is around 3 km from Mykonos town and 1.2 km from Ornos, there is no bus service at all. Taxi is an option to get around, but during July & August waiting time varies from minutes to hours due to limited fleet of taxis in the island.
